Det visade sig att karttillverkaren hade gjort ett stort misstag och passet var bara 5300m. Vi valde att skippa omv\u00e4gen och ist\u00e4llet cykla raka v\u00e4gen tv\u00e4rs \u00f6ver Qinghai till Golmud. T\u00e4lten restes vid 21 tiden n\u00e4r vi ins\u00e5g att vi inte skulle hinna n\u00e5 huvudv\u00e4gen och lastbilsstoppet innan m\u00f6rkret f\u00f6ll. Vinden h\u00f6ll i sig hela natten, och dagen d\u00e4rp\u00e5.
